What is the Texas Advanced Academy for Victim Assistance?
The Texas Advanced Academy for Victim Assistance offers advanced training to professionals in criminal justice and non-profit settings who are leading the provision of victim services in a managerial or administrative capacity. This academy provides an opportunity to study and interact with other victim service providers to develop and enhance leadership and management skills, in order to strengthen the provision of consistent, high-quality, professional services to crime victims, their families, and local communities. The academy is specifically designed for managing and leading in a trauma-based profession.

Cancellation/Refund Policy A refund of 50% of the fees paid will be authorized when a written request by January 31, 2025 has been submitted prior to the scheduled start of the program. Texas Victim Services Association reserves the right to retain or collect fees in full for those who fail to cancel prior to the training or for those who fail to attend.
